Q: Why do I need to sign the document in the presence of a notary?
A: One of the functions of a notary as a public official is his or her ability to serve as an “official witness” to the signature of a particular document. The notary is required to identify the person appearing before him or her to sign the document. Do not sign the document until the notary instructs you to.
Q: What forms of identification are acceptable?
- Current Driver’s License
- State Issued Identification Card
- Passport
- Military Identification Card
Q: I am not in the New Orleans area, but have a document that needs to be signed and notarized. Can you help me?
A: Yes. You can send the document to us via US Mail, overnight service (UPS, FedEx), or email. We will contact the signer, and make arrangements to meet at a time and place convenient for them. One of our notaries will properly identify the signer, assure that they have correctly signed the document, and return the notarized document to you via your preference of delivery.
Q: What types of documents do you prepare?
A: Our notaries can prepare and execute all types of legal documents. Common documents include:

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: Payment for notary services can be made by cash, check (subject to approval), VISA, MasterCard, or Discover.
Q: Why should I use a mobile notary service?
A: A mobile notary service brings a complete notarial office to your home, office, school, medical facility, or any other convenient place to execute your documents. Appointments are available seven days a week, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
Q: What sets you apart from your competition?
A: We are a full service notarial office, not simply a document signing service. Our notaries can prepare and execute all types of legal documents. For a listing of common notarial documents click here.
